169. PERRINES / DEPOT / NO. 37 NTH FRONT ST. / PHILADA. - APPLE - GINGER / PERRINES / (motif of an apple) / GINGER - PHILA., (Denzin, PER-52), Pennsylvania, ca. 1875 - 1885, yellow with amber tone semi-cabin, 10h, smooth base, applied tapered collar mouth.
A fine example with some glass whittle and in a scarce and attractive color.
This is the earlier and more difficult to find variant that has the embossing on the back panel. It is one of a small grouping of bottles (mostly bitters) made with embossed roped corners, giving them a very special and appealing look!
