8 1/2 h., Deep sapphire blue, lead glass, chestnut shaped body with 16 pronounced ribs, elongated neck and arched pour spout, applied hollow handle, matching stopper; Pittsburgh, c.1825-30, no harm minuscule surface line on base of handle, this is so well hidden and smaller than the width of the nail on your little finger, otherwise perfect; a sculpture in American glass!
